Getting Started

Alright, lets get this party started.

Ok. Firstly to define what I believe is Web 2.0...
I see Web 2.0 as a move away from a static webpages - webpages that display information and allow no or very little interaction. So I see a Web 2.0 site mainly as a site that you can log into, and once logged in it would automatically find anything new on that site that might interest you.
Besides a login feature, the site would consist of different ways to navigate through the site by providing links that might interest you, and shows what is popular amoungst the others currently on the site.
In addition it might provide a way to contribute to the site, like commenting on something, or attaching pictures or links to relevant information even if it isn't yours.

I don't know, thats just how I see it.

As far as this relating to a charity site much like the one I have to analyse, the site would probably have the whole log in feature, and people would be able to add information to the articles or content, not to the direct content, but like a discussion area where people could edit and add to a copy of the original. So there would be two versions, for people to view and/or contribute to.

I don't know, my definition of what 2.0 will probably change as I get further into this assignment but we will have to see...

But I have to leave for work... so you will have to check back tonight for more info... though I might actually get into this report and stop worrying about this blog =/ we'll have to see
